The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of two area men on unrelated charges Monday.

The sheriff’s office arrested 48-year-old Donald Eugene Savage of Trenton for felony third-degree domestic assault. His bond is $25,000 cash only, and he is scheduled for the Associate Division of circuit court September 26th.

Court documents accuse Savage of causing physical pain to an adult family or household member by putting a pillow over her face, tossing her around the bedroom by her hair, forcing her into the wall with her body, and throwing her outside by her hair.

Thirty-two-year-old Thomas Lund of Princeton was arrested for failure to appear. His bond is $5,000, and he was scheduled to appear in the Associate Division of circuit court Tuesday. He is in Grundy County on a writ.

Lund’s original charge was felony operating a vehicle on a highway without a valid license—third and subsequent offense.
