When the Trenton High School band and flag corps take to area football field this fall, the musicians will perform music by the band “Pink Floyd”, first made popular four decades ago.  Specifically, the THS will play hits from the album “The Wall”.

Tim Gilham was interviewed this week by KTTN’s John Anthony:

The band’s next performance will be at halftime of the Bulldog Senior Night game against Maysville, on Friday night, October 7th at C.F. Russell Stadium:

Gilham directs the 67 member THS band.  That number includes two drum majors and a manager.  Gilham describes this year’s band as the largest number of playing members during his Trenton tenure.  The flag corps (accompanying the band) has a dozen participants under the direction of Kelli Griffith.

In addition to Friday, October 7th, the THS band (and auxiliary units) will perform in exhibition at Trenton Band Days on Saturday, October 15th, part of the annual Missouri Day Festival.
