Trenton golf travels back to Tiffany Greens, cruises to triangular triumph

The Trenton Bulldogs shot a winning score of 163 on Tuesday afternoon, easily surpassing the 196 of North Kansas City and 204 of Park Hill, winning a triangular competition between the three schools at Tiffany Greens Golf Course in Kansas City.

Medalist honors went to Trenton’s Nate Swann, with a nine-hole score of 37.  Nate birdied the 3rd and 9th holes, and had to survive a double-bogey on the 5th and bogey on the 8th hole.  Cree Mullenix of Trenton had the runner-up score of 40, followed by matching 43’s from Lathan Croy and Corbyn Guile of THS,.  Ramirez and Ibarra had the top scores for North Kansas City at matching 45’s, while Hughes and Monroe both shot 47 to pace the Park Hill group of 5.  Trenton’s Luke Lewis carded a 53.

Each school had one extra player on the course, meaning six players actually represented each team, with the top four scores used to determine the team total.  Trenton’s Tucker Franklin shot 45 for the Bulldogs.
