A lawsuit filed two weeks ago in Grundy County has been voluntarily dismissed by an attorney representing Trenton Farms RE LLC.

According to a document filed in Grundy county with the dismissal, the Attorney, Robert Brundage, stated the jurisdiction for a lawsuit is with the Western District Missouri Court of Appeals at Kansas City.

The suit had been filed against the Missouri Clean Water Commission.

It involves a permit to operate a CAFO, a concentrated animal feeding operation in southwest Grundy county. The clean water commission, on a split vote, had decided not to issue a permit, thus overturning a permit granted by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
