Trenton Cinema will celebrate the Easter season with a first-run movie, The Case For Christ, a coloring contest and candy-filled eggs for all ticket holders on Easter Sunday, April 16.

Based on a true story, The Case For Christ is a faith-based movie offered by the producers of Gods Not Dead series.

The movie takes place in 1980 when prize-winning journalist and practicing atheist Lee Strobel tries to use his journalistic and legal skills to prove that his wife’s new-found Christianity is not believable. He investigates the matter for almost two years- with results that he finds a new faith in Christ.

The coloring contest offers prizes in three age categories with prizes to include an Easter plushy and a movie ticket. Coloring sheets can be picked at the theater. Name, age and phone number must be on the back of the sheet.

The Easter observance concludes with candy-filled eggs for the Easter audiences, while supplies last.

You may visit the theater’s website for showtimes, or call the theater at (660) 359-6552.
