A tractor cruise will be part of the Independence Day activities in Mercer County.
Participants in the tractor cruise are to be at Smithfield headquarters, north of Princeton, by 1:30 the afternoon of July. The tractors leave from the Smithfield main office at 2nd Drive and go north to Lineville then return to Smithfield.
The July 4th all school reunion is at 5 o’clock in the Smithfield Education Center and is open to all graduates of the Princeton R-5 school district.
Also at the Smithfield headquarters, the Princeton Chamber of Commerce offers free watermelon at 8 o’clock. The fireworks show begins when it’s dark enough that night.
