Street improvements will continue in Chillicothe the rest of this week and into next.
Street Superintendent Barry Arthur says M and M Utilities will continue to place storm drainage pipes on Tomahawk Road in order to install a new curb and gutters.
M and M’s asphalt contractor, Tandem Paving Company, will start milling and paving next week.
Arthur says milling will begin on Forest Drive from Irving to Windle and on Windle Drive from Fair Street to Methodist Church Driveway Monday.
The contractor will start milling on Green Street from Samuel Street to Fifth Avenue Tuesday.
Milling will also be done at Danner Park on the walking trail and new asphalt will be laid on each of the routes after milling is complete.
Arthur notes that all of the projects and dates are weather permitting and he encourages residents to follow all signs and watch for workers in the road.
