Spickard City Council hears reports

The Spickard City Council heard several reports at its meeting Monday evening.

City Clerk Mary Exley reported on grinder pump replacement prices and location to get one. Exley also reported on the backhoe repair which needs a new hose and is being made.

The budget was presented, and a special meeting will be held to discuss and accept it will be held later this month when Mayor Jesse Richman can be present.

Election results were also presented, and all applicants accepted their positions, which leaves Richmond as Mayor and Janice Vandevender and Alan Tharp as council members.

Newly elected members will be sworn in at the next meeting in May.

Tharp reminded that clean-up week will be the last week of April and that Rapid Removal will have a dumpster at city hall April 28 through 30.

The council discussed a dog problem in a closed session.
