An update on the sewer project at Spickard is the topic for a special meeting August 17th.
A representative of White Cloud Engineering is to be at the city hall to discuss more information on the proposed project. The Spickard town board of aldermen has scheduled the meeting for 6 o’clock that evening.
During a meeting Monday evening, a bid was accepted to mow the sewer land for hay; and tax levy forms were presented and approved by the aldermen.
An executive session also was held Monday evening by Spickard aldermen.
This months’ regular meeting of the Spickard R-2 Board of Education is on Monday night, August 15th.
It will begin at 6 o’clock at the school with the annual tax levy public hearing. Agenda items include a financial update, MSBA conference and registration, and the principal’s report on enrollment of students and school maintenance.
An executive session is listed for personnel and students.
The Spickard R-2 school will host an open house next Tuesday night, August 16 from 5:30 until 7 o’clock. Enrollment packets and pizza will be available for those who attend.
The first day of classes for the Spickard district is Wednesday, August 17th.
