Special hours for absentee balloting on Saturday have been announced for Grundy and Livingston Counties, subject to the August 2nd Primary Election.

The Grundy County Clerks office at the Courthouse (second floor) will be open Saturday, July 30th from 8 to 12 noon.

The Livingston county clerks office at the Courthouse in Chillicothe will be open Saturday from 8:30 to 12:30.

Absentee balloting continues today through Friday during regular office hours for the county clerks who are the election authority.

The day before Tuesday’s election remains the deadline to vote absentee. That means 5 o’clock Monday afternoon is the cut-off time and date for casting an absentee ballot if the voter is not able to do so on Tuesday, August 2. Polls are open that Tuesday from 6 a.m. until 7 p-m.
