The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is reporting the arrest of Jonathan David Rhodes for alleged failing to register as a sex offender.

Sheriff Steve Cox indicated that information recently came to the department as a TIP that Rhodes was an out of state offender, not registering in Livingston County.

The department conducted an investigation including interviews, as well as obtaining certified out-of-state court records. Information was submitted to Livingston County Prosecuting Attorney Adam Warren for review.

On Tuesday, April 19, the Livingston County Associate Circuit Court issued arrest warrant 16LV-CR00185 for Jonathan David Rhodes, 24, Chillicothe for alleged class D felony, failure to register as a sex offender. The court set the bond at $5,000.

Rhodes was arrested by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, and transferred to the Daviess-Dekalb County Regional Jail in lieu of bond.
