The Chillicothe Police Department remained busy over the weekend responding to over 100 calls.
Officers took a report of a dog bite in the 900 block of Walnut St. Estella Naomie Gregson was issued a citation for failure to obtain annual city dog license and failure to get yearly vaccinations for a dog.
Officers took a report of stealing in the 400 block of Webster St. The investigation is on-going.
Officers took a report of stealing in the 500 block of Clay St. The investigation is on-going.
Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Lambert Dr. Officer’s arrested Jared Austin Vanhorn for domestic assault, drug possession, and drug paraphernalia. Officers also arrested Katie Jill Vanhorn for domestic assault. Both subjects were transported to the Police Department for processing. They were then transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail Staff pending the filing formal charges.
Officers took a report of stealing in the 1000 block of Graves St. A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.
Officers were dispatched to a dog left unattended in a vehicle which was not running in the 1000 block of Graves St. Edith Avendano Carmona was issued a citation for animal cruelty.
Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Elm St. The incident was determined to be verbal in nature. No arrests were made.
Officers arrested Tiffany Latouria Midgyett on an active arrest warrant out of Livingston County for a probation violation in the 600 block of Walnut St. Midgyett was processed at the Police Department. The warrant carried no bond so Midgyett was transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail.
Officers were dispatched to a one vehicle crash in the 600 block of Dickinson Ave. A motorcycle driven by Curtis J. George loss control of his motorcycle after looking back for something that flew off the bike. He laid the bike down and slid on the street. George was transported to the hospital by the Chillicothe Department of Emergency Services.
Officers arrested Shawn Earl Pridemore on an active arrest warrant out of Livingston County for driving while intoxicated in the 900 block of Bryan St. Pridemore was transported to the Police Department for processing. He was transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb County Regional Jail.
Officers were dispatched to a two-vehicle non-injury traffic crash on private property in the 600 block of Bus. Hwy. 36. A vehicle driven by Glenna S. Clavin and a vehicle driven by Ida M. Trueblood backed into each other causing minor damage.
