Separate rollover accidents yesterday afternoon in Putnam and Clinton Counties injure drivers from Unionville and Cameron.

Ten miles west of Unionville, the highway patrol reports a car driven by 43-year-old Deanna Henry of Unionville was eastbound when it twice went off Highway 136 and overturned.

Ms. Henry was taken by a medical helicopter to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.

The mid Wednesday afternoon accident did extensive damage to the car. Deanna Henry was using a safety device.

One mile east of Cameron, the highway patrol said 21-year-old Bret Johnson of Cameron received moderate injuries when the pickup he was driving went off Route Double-B twice and overturned.

Johnson was taken by ambulance to the Cameron Regional Medical Center.

The truck received extensive damage in the early afternoon accident.

Bret Johnson, according to the Highway Patrol report, was not using a safety device.
