Fire Saturday destroyed a van at the Trenton Village Apartments on 30th street in Trenton.
A Trenton Fire Department spokesman said the van was being backed from a parking space when the fire was noticed in the engine compartment. The cause of the fire was not determined because of the damage to the vehicle.
Other vehicles were parked nearby but no other damage was noted and no injuries were reported.
Firefighters were on the scene nearly one hour and the name was not available for the owner and/or driver of the van.
