Carroll County Memorial Hospital, in partnership with the Carrollton Area Economic Alliance, holds a Friday morning ribbon cutting for the new medical plaza and surgery suites at the hospital. The ribbon cutting is at 10 o’clock, with a short program and building tours planned afterwards.
The three-story addition to Carroll County Memorial Hospital includes two operating rooms, pre and post-operative bays, clinical support services, and a reception/waiting area (all on the ground level); expanded outpatient clinic space on the second floor (or main level); and the majority of physician medical clinics on the top floor.
The facility will include a separate patient access corridor linking the main hospital to the new facility, along with an elevator.
The Murray Company was the general contractor and BSA Lifestructures the architectural firm for the addition.
