Princeton woman hurt in Saturday crash

A Princeton resident was hurt early Saturday afternoon west of Princeton when, according to the highway patrol, a car made a left-hand turn onto Highway 136 and collided with a van.

The driver of the van, 72-year-old Jerrie Delameter of Princeton, was transported to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton with moderate injuries.

The driver of the car, 29-year-old Ashley Baker of Princeton, was not reported hurt.

The accident happened west of Princeton at the intersection of Highway 136 and Route P as the car was southbound on Route P, made a left turn onto Highway 136, and hit the front left of the van which was eastbound on highway 136. The van then went off the right side of the road, returned to the pavement, traveled off the left side of the road, and went down an embankment.

Both vehicles had moderate damage both occupants were wearing seatbelts.
