One person was injured and another taken into custody in what was reported to Chillicothe police as a stabbing yesterday at the Chillicothe McDonald’s Restaurant.
A statement issued by Chillicothe Police Sunday afternoon reported that at approximately 12 Noon, officers responded to an incident involving assault with a weapon. The statement noted it involved two employees of the restaurant with one reportedly injured and the other taken into custody.
The Chillicothe McDonald’s closed Sunday while police conducted their investigation.
The report did not describe the extent of injuries but police indicated that the wounds received in the assault were not life-threatening, however, various unofficial sources indicated a knife was involved in the assault.
