A fundraiser next month at the Pleasant View R-6 School near Trenton includes basketball games along with an auction of donated items. Events are March 25th beginning at 6 o’clock that evening.

The first basketball game has R-6 faculty and staff taking on students of the school. A cheerleading performance is scheduled at the half time. A benefit auction will be after the first game. Then the alumni basketball game will follow. A basketball shootout will be held at halftime of the alumni game. The cost to participate in this event is $1.00 for each person.

The Pleasant View R-6 community club will auction homemade desserts, a hand made quilt, a rustic farmhouse, and a hand made knife. Desserts will be donated by parents and grandparents of Pleasant View students among other supporters.

The quilt was made by school superintendent Rebecca Steinhoff. The knife was made and donated by Matt Ray. Informational contacts about the events are Community Club member Carol Hein at Trenton and Mrs. Steinhoff at the school.

Proceeds from the March 25th events will go to funding educational field trips and projects on behalf of the Pleasant View R-6 School.
