Paula Larson, licensed practical nurse at Wright Memorial Physicians’ Group, was honored as the hospital’s Employee of the Quarter for first quarter 2017. Gary Jordan, Chief Executive Officer, presented the award to Larson at a ceremony held in her honor.
The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who provides exemplary service, going beyond the call of duty to support fellow employees or to comfort or assist patients and their families.
In her nomination form, Larson’s co-workers said, “You can easily spot the five core values of Saint Luke’s Health System when you look at Paula and the work she does each day. She provides excellent care to each of the patients she interacts. She is a vital part of the Physicians’ Group team. She serves as a mentor to those with less experience. Paula is prompt to call patients back with any of their questions or concerns. She is always calm, friendly, and reassuring. It is her personal mission to make sure each patient receives the best possible care from Wright Memorial Physicians’ Group.”
In recognition of the award, Larson received an Employee of the Quarter certificate, the parking space of her choice for three months, three eStore vouchers, a gift certificate to the hospital gift shop, her name posted on the Employee of the Quarter wall plaque, and acknowledgement in the local media and hospital employee intranet.
