The Kirksville Fire Department and the Adair County Ambulance District will help promote child passenger safety with the Northeast Missouri Alliance for Passenger Education and Safety Saturday.

They will be at the Kirksville Motor Company at 3607 North Baltimore Street in Kirksville from 11 o’clock that morning to 2 o’clock that afternoon.

Certified Child Passenger Safety technicians will teach parents how to properly secure children in car seats.

Adair County Sheriff Robert Hardwick will talk to parents about car seat safety and the Highway Patrol’s seat belt crash simulator will be available for parents and children to ride.
