A North Central Missouri College alum and 2017 NCMC Athletic Hall of Fame member is sharing his love of baseball with inner city youth.

Kansas Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities Executive Director Cle Ross helps disadvantaged youth ages three through 18 with educational programs and activities related to baseball and softball.

It is the only little league in Kansas affiliated with Major League Baseball and the Kansas City Royals.

Ross attended NCMC in 1999 and 2000 and played for the Pirates Baseball team setting a single-season school record for stolen bases at 43 in 2000.

Ross also played NCAA Division One level at the University of Arkansas and minor league baseball for the Texas Rangers and played a major part in the revitalization of the Barton-Ross Complex in Kansas City, Kansas, which bears his namesake, where Kansas RBI plays.

Ross says NCMC was his launching pad and foundation that allowed him to have a record-breaking career.
