The Newtown-Harris R-3 School Board approved contracts and accepted resignations at its meeting Monday evening.
Tenured, non-tenured, and non-certified staff contracts approved are for the 2017-2018 school year.
The resignations accepted will follow the completion of the 2016-2017 school year.
The board also unanimously approved the Newtown-Harris R-3 FFA’s proposed trip to Washington, D. C. for the Washington Leadership Conference in June.
Midwest Transit representative Ken Pearce presented information regarding bus leases versus purchases.
Seventh through 12th-grade science teacher Michelle McLaughlin and third and fourth-grade teacher Bailey Kasinger reported on instructional initiatives in the classroom.
