A Resident of New Hampton was taken to a hospital following a single vehicle accident yesterday morning in rural Harrison County.
53-year-old Christine Lofgren received moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Northwest Medical Center in Albany.
Ms. Lofgren was southbound when she swerved her SUV to avoid a cow in the road, West 150th Avenue. The vehicle went into a ditch and received minor damage in the accident three miles east of New Hampton at 5:35 a.m. Wednesday morning.
The driver was using a seat belt.
