NCMC Librarian appointed to serve on Secretary of State council

North Central Missouri College Librarian, Beth Caldarello, was recently appointed to serve on the Secretary’s Council on Library Development. This council advises the Secretary of State’s Office on matters that relate to the State’s libraries and library service to Missouri citizens.

“I am much honored to serve on the Secretary’s Council representing academic libraries. Libraries, and what they have to offer, change lives. I want to help ensure that we are meeting the needs for all of our patrons with the resources we have available.” –Beth Caldarello, NCMC Librarian.

Beth will join a council of 20 members across the state including representatives of Legislature, citizens of Missouri, patrons of the State Library and Wolfner Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped, as well as all types of libraries and trustees. This council will advise on policy and programs for libraries to the Secretary of State and State Librarian, Barbara Reading. Beth will serve beginning June of 2016 through December of 2018.

Randall has been with KTTN/KGOZ for almost 20 years. He is the current Engineer for all of the stations, as well as working "on-air" from 6 to 10, am in the morning.
