NCMC inducts Lenny Klaver as school’s 13th president

A ceremony was held on Thursday night to induct Dr. Lenny Klaver as the 13th president in the 90 year history of North Central Missouri College.  Dr. Klaver spoke of the past, present, and future of NCMC – calling it a “strong institution for higher education”.

Dr. Klaver mentioned future challenges for the college, including growing student enrollment, the formation of focus groups that are beginning “extensive strategic planning”, and promoting “guiding principles for ‘ideas that work'”:

Several others offered statements of support at President Klaver’s induction.  The investiture ceremony was held in the library of newly-renovated Geyer Hall.  It began with Board of Trustees President Rob Maloney:

North Central employees Kristi Cross, Whitney Bingham, and Tina Totten were among the speakers.  Mrs. Cross – the Director of Admissions – serves as President of the Administrative, Management, and Professional group:
