North Central Missouri College hosted their fifth Annual Foundation Golf Tournament on Friday, September 2, 2016 at the Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe.

With 101 golfers from across the region participating, the event was a tremendous success. The money raised during this event directly supports the Foundation’s drive to assist NCMC and NCMC students. Several area businesses helped sponsor the tournament, including awards for the participants.

Prior to the tournament, Teresa J. Cross, NCMC Foundation Director, described the impact that tournament funds have on the growth of the Foundation, and Dr. Lenny Klaver, NCMC President, emphasized his support of the event. Several student athletes were on hand to help out and tell their story about how scholarships benefitted them personally.

“I am so thankful for everyone that supported our golf tournament this year. It was a huge success thanks to the teams that participated, businesses that donated, volunteers that helped, Green Hills Golf Course, and students that shared their stories. This year was one of our biggest years yet and we look forward to having it again next year.” –Teresa Cross NCMC Foundation Director
