Music abounds in Chillicothe during April, May and June

The Chillicothe Area Arts Council will hold several events in the next few months.

The Saint Louis Brass will perform at the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center this Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock.

The group combines humor with music and will perform a variety of selections featuring music from its CD “Pops Music of the Americas”.

The Event at Locust and Ann will be at the Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallary Saturday, April 29 and will feature music from the Chillicothe Orchestral Ensemble and the Morton Sisters. There will also be a cash bar.

The cost is $20 per person, and the deadline to register is the afternoon of Wednesday, April 19 at 4 o’clock.

The Annual Cultural Luncheon at Silver Moon Plaza will be Thursday, May 4.

The event will feature the Chillicothe High School Jazz Band directed by Sarah Cavanah at noon that day and the fourth and fifth grade Hornet Stinger Choir directed by Dan Venner at 12:30.

The Fifth Sliced Bread Jam Bluegrass Festival will be at the Litton Agricultural Campus June 16, 17, and 18. Food and camping will be available.
