A Caldwell county motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon injured a man from Lathrop.
The highway patrol listed injuries as moderate for 42 year old John Finton who was taken by an ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The accident happened two miles west of Polo (at 3:35 pm Tuesday on Missouri 116 at Route T)
Finton was westbound on Highway 116 when he slowed his motorcycle to avoid traffic but went off the north side of the road. The machine returned to the road but the operator lost control, it overturned, and skidded off the south side, Damage was moderate to the motorcycle.
Finton was using safety equipment.
