Motorcycle accident injures Brookfield man

A Brookfield man was injured early Monday morning when his motorcycle, according to the Highway Patrol, went out of control on a gravel road in Macon County.  Thirty-two year old Corey Faiola was thrown from the cycle when it went on its side while in motion on Lake Street, less than one mile north of Macon.

Faiola recieved what the Highway Patrol described as moderate injuries, and was taken to University Hospital in Columbia.

The accident occurred at approximately 3 o’clock Monday morning.  Extensive damage was done to the motorcycle.  The report indicated that Faiola was not wearing a helmet.
