MoDOT planed road work for north Missouri June 6 through June 12

The following is a listing of general highway maintenance and construction work in the Northwest Missouri region planned for the week of June 6 – 12 from the Missouri Department of Transportation.

In addition to the work listed below, there may be pothole patching, bridge deck washing, striping, brush cutting, guardrail repairs and other road work conducted throughout the region. Many of these will be moving operations and could include lane closures with delays.

Andrew County

Interstate 29 – NIGHT WORK southbound from Business U.S. Route 71 to Route O (Buchanan County) for a resurfacing project, June 6 – 11 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. This does include a 15-foot width restriction.

Route 48 – CLOSED at the Platte River Bridge near Whitesville for a bridge replacement project. The road will be closed through mid-November.

Atchison County

Route N – CLOSED at the East Fork of the Little Tarkio Creek Bridge for a bridge replacement project. The road will be closed through mid-June.

Buchanan County

I-229 and U.S. Route 36 – Sweeping and flushing bridges, June 6 – 9

Route Z – Pothole patching, June 6 – 9

Gene Field Road Bridge over I-29 – CLOSED for bridge maintenance. The road will be closed overnight beginning Monday, June 6 at 7 a.m. and will reopen Wednesday, June 8 at 3 p.m.

I-29 – NIGHT WORK southbound from Business U.S. Route 71 (Andrew County) to Route O for a resurfacing project, June 6 – 11 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. This will include a 15-foot width restriction.

Route Y – CLOSED from Route DD to Route 116 for a sealing project, June 6 – 8 from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Caldwell County

Various routes – Striping, June 6 – 10

U.S. Route 36 – Westbound from the Livingston County line to Route J for sealing shoulders, June 7 – 8. This will include a 12-foot width restriction.

U.S. Route 36 – Eastbound from Route P to Route 13 for sealing shoulders, June 7 – 8. This will include a 12-foot width restriction.

Carroll County

Route 139 – At the Hurricane Creek Bridge for a bridge maintenance project, June 6 – 7. This will include a 12-foot width restriction.

U.S. Route 65 – At the Moss Creek Drain Ditch Bridge for a bridge maintenance project, June 8 – 9. This will include a 12-foot width restriction.

Chariton County

Route E – From Route 139 to Route 5 for pothole patching, June 7 – 8

Route JJ – From Route E to the Linn County line for pothole patching on June 9

Clinton County

Route NN – CLOSED from NW Marvin Road to NW Bethany Church Road for a culvert replacement on June 6 from 7:30 to 4 p.m.

Daviess County

I-35 – At mile marker 60 near U.S. Route 69 to mile marker 54 near the Cameron exit ramp (DeKalb County) for pavement repair, June 6 – 10 with an overnight lane closure

Route YY – Pothole patching, June 6 – 10

DeKalb County

I-35 – At mile marker 54 near the Cameron exit ramp to mile marker 60 near U.S. Route 69 (Daviess County) for pavement repair, June 6 – 10 with an overnight lane closure.

Route W – CLOSED for chip sealing on June 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Gentry County

Route C – CLOSED at the Weldon Branch Bridge; bridge replacement project. The bridge will be closed through July.

Route C – CLOSED at the Panther Creek Bridge; bridge replacement project. The bridge will be closed through August.

Route N – CLOSED three miles north of U.S. Route 136 for a culvert replacement, June 6 – 7 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily

Grundy County

Route AA – From Business U.S. 65 to the end of state maintenance ends for a milling and resurfacing project, June 6 – 7

Route 6 – At the No Creek Bridge for bridge maintenance, June 6 – 9 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. A temporary traffic signal will be in place during working hours.

Various routes – Striping, June 6 – 10

Harrison County

Route 46 – CLOSED from Route NN to Route HH for a culvert replacement on June 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Route BB – CLOSED from Route P to U.S. Route 136 for a chip seal project on June 6 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Route M – CLOSED from U.S. Route 69 to Route D for a chip seal project on June 10 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Holt County

Route T – Pothole patching on June 6

I-29 – Southbound driving lane at the Nodaway River Bridge for a bridge maintenance project, June 7 – 9. This includes a 12-foot width restriction with an overnight lane closure.

Route U – Pothole patching, June 7 – 8

Route D – Pothole patching, June 9 – 10

Livingston County

Route V – From Route K to the Grundy County line for a resurfacing project on May 25 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Route DD – CLOSED from Route C to Route D for a culvert replacement on June 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Route Z – CLOSED from Route C to U.S. Route 65 for a culvert replacement on June 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Route F – CLOSED from Route C to the Carroll County line for a culvert replacement on June 9 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Linn County

Route 139 – From U.S. Route 36 to Route B for pothole patching on June 6

Nodaway County

Route TT – Pothole patching on June 6

U.S. Route 71 – Northbound single lane closure at the White Cloud Creek Bridge, just north of the Andrew County line for a bridge re-deck project, June 6 – 11. This includes a 12-foot width restriction.

Route ZZ – Pothole patching, June 7 – 8

Route 246 – From Route E to the Worth County line for drainage work on June 8

Route U – Pothole patching on June 9

Route AH – Pothole patching on June 10

Mercer County

Route CC – From U.S. Route 136 to Route N for pothole patching, June 6 – 10

Putnam County

Route W – CLOSED from Mayweed Trail to Old Cross Trail for a culvert replacement on June 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Route W – CLOSED from Old Cross Trail to Oak Trail for a culvert replacement on June 7 – 8 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily

Route W – CLOSED from Oak Trail to Route 149 for a culvert replacement, June 9 – 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily
