Missouri Public Service Commission approves fuel adjustment charge for KCP&L

The Missouri Public Service Commission approved KCP &L of Greater Missouri Operations Company’s request to change the fuel adjustment charge on its electric customers’ month bills.

The change will mean an increase of about 35 cents a month for a typical residential customer which will take effect March 1st.

The fuel adjustment charge change reflects fuel and purchased power costs between June and November 2016.

KCP and L-Greater Missouri Operations Company provides electric service to customers in multiple Missouri counties, including Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Livingston, and Mercer.
