Missouri Highway Patrol makes arrest after stopping driver without headlights on in Schuyler County

A Kirksville man was arrested after being stopped for driving without headlights in Schuyler County Saturday night.

The Missouri Highway Patrol took 29-year-old Wesley Stella into custody at 11:18 PM after discovering he was driving while his license was suspended. Upon further investigation, the patrol discovered he was also wanted on a warrant in Adair County for failure to appear on a driving while suspended charge.

Stella was also charged with felony possession of a controlled substance, Methamphetamine, possession of less than thirty five grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Stella was placed at the time, on a twenty four hour hold in the Schuyler County jail.
