Minnesota man hurt in crash near Chillicothe; accused of DWI

A Minnesota man was hurt early Friday when the van he was driving ran off a T- intersection northwest of Chillicothe hitting a tree.

50-year-old Bruce Delancey of Duluth, Minnesota was taken to Hedrick Medical Center in Chillicothe with minor injuries.

The accident happened about four miles northwest of Chillicothe at the intersection of Route A and Highway 190 when the van was southbound on Route A, crossed Highway 190, hit the ground and struck the tree.

The patrol listed damage to the van as minor and said Delancy was not wearing a seatbelt.

The patrol accused Delancey of driving while intoxicated/drugs and failure to halt at a stop sign.
