The Milan Wildcats, just 24 hours removed from a shutout victory over North Shelby, failed to keep positive momentum on Tuesday afternoon, losing to the Novinger Wildcats, 15-5. Elsewhere in northeast Missouri baseball, Scotland County routed North Shelby by a score of 15-2, and Kirksville took a 7-2 win over Hannibal.
In the Midland Empire Conference, Lafayette clipped LeBlond 6-5 and Maryville doubled up Savannah 4-2. Chillicothe, on Wednesday night, will host Cameron at 4:30 at Shaffer Park. Elsewhere across northwest Missouri, Mid-Buchanan pounded North Platte 22-4, Braymer downed Platte Valley 7-6, Lawson downed Plattsburg 3-2, and Lathrop dominated West Platte 11-1.
