Mercer County Fair begins annual run July 12

The Mercer County Fair at Princeton runs from July 12th through 17th.

Activities July 12th include entering and judging exhibits, fair royalty, and a talent show.

Events July 13th include rabbit and poultry shows, kids activities, a bike rodeo, and super farmer competition.

There’s a hog show on July 14th.

The schedule on July 15th includes a kid’s ATV safety course, sheep and goat judging, and musical entertainment by Madd Hoss Jackson and Sam Banks.

The lineup Saturday, July 16th at the fair includes a 4-H foundation breakfast, pet and beef shows, A youth horse workshop, an ice cream social, a livestock auction, and an Iowa-Missouri tractor pull.

The fair concludes July 17th with a farmers community breakfast, and cook off competition and judging.
