One person has been arrested after an altercation late last month at Trenton.

Following a law enforcement investigation, felony charges of second-degree assault have been filed against 29-year-old Kenneth Leon Talley who listed a Plattsburg address when taken into custody. Bond is 15 thousand dollars cash.

Talley is scheduled July 12th in the Associate Division of Grundy County circuit court. He was arrested in Harrison County on Saturday.

Information filed by Grundy County Prosecutor Carrie Lamm-Clark accuses Talley of using a sharp object to cut Trenton resident Levi Grant Bell. Talley, because of the incident, is accused of attempting to cause a serious physical injury on Bell.

The warrant describes Kenneth Talley as a persistent offender. It was noted Talley pleaded guilty in October 2005 to assault in the second degree and in October 2008 to forgery charges – both in Grundy County.
