The community food pantry of Grundy county has received a shipment of deer meat with two opportunities for distribution to persons in need. The venison is frozen in one pound packages.

Eligible clients who show their food pantry I-D may receive the venison this morning, between 9 and 11 o’clock; and again on Thursday morning between 9 and 11 – subject to the supply lasting.

The department of conservation agents delivered the deer meat yesterday to the food pantry in Trenton for use by persons in need of protein.
