The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Forrest O. Triplett Animal Shelter and the Livingston County Humane Society.

We understand how much pets can and do mean to their families and too often we see the concerns and even tears when a pet becomes missing.

The Livingston County Sheriff reports their goal is to help recently found animals quickly return home and assist other people in adopting a new pet. The sheriff’s department website and Facebook page will be updated weekly with new information provided by the shelter.

If you are interested in checking for a lost pet or adopting a new addition to your family you should contact the shelter located at 1400 S. Mitchell Avenue in Chillicothe or call 660-646-1006.
