LeBlond edges St. Pius by 1 stroke, Trenton by 15 in golf triangular at Fairview

Trenton and St. Pius the Tenth sent their boy’s golf teams to the Fairview Course in St. Joseph on Monday afternoon, for a triangular hosted by the Bishop LeBlond Golden Eagles.  LeBlond shot a team score of 160 to edge St. Pius’ score of 161, while Trenton was a respectable third place at 175.

LeBlond’s Grant Boudreau was one of only two golfers shooting sub-40 on the 9 holes of play, earning medalist honors with 35.  Cole Elling had the top score for the St. Pius Warriors with 39, while Trenton’s top score was a 41 from senior Cree Mullenix.

On the junior varsity level, Trenton brought just three players on Monday, so a team score was not kept.  St. Pius shot 182 to LeBlond’s 193 in JV team results.  For Trenton, Luke Lewis shot 55, Conner Lovell 61, and Cade Darting 63.  The top JV score of 44 was turned in my Michalek of St. Pius X.
