Laredo R-7 Board of Education accepts bids

The Laredo R-7 School District Board of Education accepted bids for milk, propane, and fuel at its meeting Monday evening.

The board accepted the bid for milk from Prairie Farms, the bid for propane from MFA Propane, and the bid for diesel fuel from MFA.

The board approved the Voluntary Student Accident Insurance through Nationwide Insurance.

It will be made available to all students at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year.

The board also approved Missouri School Boards’ Association policy updates and board policy updates as well as the Summer I-Ready Incentive Trip and the transportation report.

The board reviewed the 2016-2017 budget and preliminary budget for 2017-2018 as well as summer maintenance, cleaning, safety, and personnel.

A special board meeting will be held the evening of June 29th at 6 o’clock.

After an executive session, the board announced it accepted the contract from Kristi Sparks as Related Service Provider Assistant in the absence of Melissa Perry for next school year.
