A special Board of Education meeting for this area comes up Thursday night at the Laredo R-7 school with the public session beginning at 6 o’clock.
The board will be approving amendments to the current school year budget; will zero out the teacher’s fund if needed, and transfer funds to cover expenditures of the building fund. Another action involving the current budget year is to have it match the actual revenues and expenditures for the year ending on Friday, June 30.
The Laredo school board members also plan to review the proposed 2017-18 budget and if acceptable, approve it as presented.
An executive session also is listed for the Laredo school board meeting on Thursday night.
