Among information from last evenings’ meeting of the Laredo R-7 Board of Education, the board accepted the resignation of Brooke Chapman as the first and second-grade teacher effectively immediately.
The first reading was held on policy updates recommended by the Missouri school boards association. The final transportation report from the past school year was approved. Reviews were given on the budget, annual secretary to the board report and ongoing maintenance projects. CPA Robert Conrad is scheduled to be at the Laredo school July 25th for a financial audit.
The tax levy public hearing is scheduled for the August 10th meeting of the Laredo R-7 board of education. The hearing is listed for 6 o’clock with the regular session scheduled at 6:30.
