Quarterly Luncheon on March 27th

Guest speaker will be Daniel Landon, Senior Vice President of Governmental Relations at Missouri Hospital Association. He will be addressing the subject of healthcare. Easter Egg Hunt Donations Sought

The Chamber of Commerce and Trenton Downtown Improvement Association are now accepting donations of candy to fill the eggs for the annual Easter egg hunt. Monetary donations are welcomed as well. The fun will take place Saturday, March 23rd at 9:00am at Sesquicentennial Park. Children ages birth to seven (7) are welcome to join in the hunt. Driver Licensing Procedures

As of today, February 28th, the driver licensing procedures in the Trenton License Office have changed slightly to meet the new requirements of the Department of Revenue. When you come in to get a new permit, license or ID and/or renew your permit, license or ID, you will, once again, need to bring your state certified birth certificate OR passport, proof of residence (utility bill, voter registration card, bank statement, etc.) and proof of name change if your name differs from what’s on your birth certificate (marriage license or social security card with new name; however, if the name on a presented passport matches the name on the driver license, this verification is not required). These verification documents must be scanned. You will receive a temporary license when your transaction is complete and your permanent license will be mailed to you. Annual Banquet Will Go On

Good Friday Morning! Even though the snow put a damper on some activities, our annual banquet will go on as scheduled this evening. Social hour begins at 6:00pm at the National Guard Armory. We’ve had 249 reservations and plan to have a great evening with guest speaker Ryan Lefebvre. Please keep in mind your safety is most important. We hope you can be there if you have reserved your seat, but please drive safely.

Women?s Survival Awareness&Self Defense Class

The Trenton Police Department, in partnership with the Trenton Chamber of Commerce and Scientific Fighting, is pleased to announce our Women’s Survival Awareness and Self Defense class. Class will be held at the Trenton High School wrestling room on March 2nd from 8am to 3pm. Entry fee is $20 per person and there are only 40 slots available. Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing and shoes and bring a positive attitude, towel and water bottle. Tickets go on sale January 22nd and will be available at the Police Department as well as the Chamber of Commerce. If writing a check, please make payable to Santiago Guerrero.

Blood Drive February 4th

Community Blood Center is having a blood drive February 4th at the Grundy County Senior Center, 2901 Hoover Drive, from 12pm to 6pm. Community Blood Center needs to collect 580 units of blood daily to meet the needs of area hospital patients. As there is no substitute for blood, we rely on volunteer donors like you, to supply life-saving blood and blood components to 70 hospitals in Kansas and Missouri. Annual Banquet in February

Our annual banquet will be held February 22nd at 6:00pm. We will be gathering together at the National Guard Armory again this year. Our guest speaker will be Ryan Lefebvre, announcer for the Kansas City Royals. We will begin taking reservations soon.
