Two Injured In Harrison County Accident

Bethany and Ridgeway residents were injured yesterday afternoon when two cars collided four miles north of Bethany.

The highway patrol described injuries as minor for the drivers: 79 year old William Henry of Bethany and 44 year old Elizabeth Medlin of Ridgeway. Both were taken to Harrison county community hospital in Bethany.

The highway patrol reports Henry was northbound on U-S 69 when his car crossed the center portion of the road and the left front struck the drivers' side of the oncoming (or southbound) car driven by Ms. Medlin.

Damage was listed as extensive to Henry's car and the Medlin vehicle was demolished. Both persons were using seat belts.
