Head Coach Jeremy Austin continues to praise the young Lady Bulldogs, noting that they are "improving quickly", and, in the case of two girls, Jordain Oshel and Caitlin McNabb, "improving dramatically and making big leaps in their golf game".

Trenton's team scores from Wednesday were 115 from McNabb and 122 from Oshel, with Kaitlyn Mounce shooting 133, Lauren Schmidt 134, and Sheridan Jamvold 136.

Coach Austin stated not, by not being a favorite in the tournament, the Lady Bulldogs made it a goal to "play better than they ever had", and he said they achieved that goal.

McNabb's 115 was right in the middle of the individual results, and Trenton, the smallest school in the field, shot a team score at "Difficult" Shirkey just above their score from last Thursday's score at an easier Schuyler County course, causing Coach Austin to remark that Wednesday was "the best THS has played".

Trenton golf hosts Putnam County at 4 o'clock on Monday, September 16th (at Riverside CC), before traveling to Gallatin for the Gallatin Tournament on Tuesday, September 17th. That tournament starts at 9 o'clock in the morning.

Chillicothe, in Wednesday's Richmond Tournament, finished 12th out of the 15 teams involved, shooting a team total of 452. Notre Dame de Sion won the tournament at 340, with Warrensburg 2nd, Blue Springs 3rd, and Sedalia 4th.

Chillicothe's individual scores were 102 from Hannah Leamer (tied for 27th place out of 74 golfers), 111 for Morgan Dowell, 115 from Kaylee Thieme, and 124's from Grace Venner and Lauren Mason. A golfer from Warrensburg won medalist honors with a round of 75.
