Milan softball falls at Schuyler County, 4-2

The Milan Lady Wildcats, in non-conference action on Thursday night, fell to Schuyler County by a score of 4-2.

Brookelyn Rardon had a two-run single to supply the Lady 'Cats offense in the top of the fifth. Two errors in the bottom of the fifth inning gave the Lady Rams two unearned runs, the lead, and eventually, the win.

Kenna Michael threw the first five innings, with Kyley Doak tossing the sixth, for Milan in the loss. All four runs given up were UN-EARNED.

The Milan JV beat Schuyler County 10-3.

The Lady 'Cats will open Tri-Rivers Conference play next Thursday, September 12th, at 5:00 at Knox County High School in Edina.

This Saturday, Milan travels to the Putnam County Tournament, playing Kirksville at 9:30 and Clark County at 11:00. Milan will be guaranteed two other games in the tournament, including a 5:30 game.
