Boil Orders Issued For Trenton and County PWSD

A boil order has been issued by Trenton Municipal Utilities, as well as the Grundy County Public Water supply District.

In portions of Trenton, A precautionary boil advisory has been issued for a small section of
Trenton following repairs last evening to a water main break.

According to Trenton Municipal Utilities, affected are water customers on 4th street between Monroe and Grundy; on 5th street between pleasant view and Grundy; and on Grundy from 4th to 6th street.

The advisory to boil water as a precaution was issued early last evening by TMU and expires at 12 midnight tonight.

Grundy County's Public Water Supply District has issued a precautionary boil advisory for rural customers who on the west side of the Thompson River.

A spokesman for the office said the advisory is to due to the water leak yesterday which also affects a rural area of the water district. The advisory is in affect until further notice.
