The Livingston County Sheriff has released a report of their recent activity.

On August 31 a deputy towed a pickup from the roadway in the 9000 block of Liv 228. The vehicle had apparently been abandoned and we were unsuccessful in locating the owner.

Victims from Chula reported Identity Theft and unauthorized use of credit. The victims learned credit card information had somehow been obtained to charge nearly $10,000 in unauthorized purchases. Credit Card Fraud unit is assisting with the investigation.

August 23 we investigated a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in Chula. The incident was not found to be a criminal matter and only a verbal disagreement.

On August 21 we investigated a report of possible child endangerment. The report shows a child may have somehow taken one or prescription medications outside the presence of the adult. The incident was found to have happened in Carroll County and all information is being transferred to that office and Division of Family Services.

Arrests:

On August 30 deputies served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Tammy Lynn Stark, 36, Chillicothe for alleged Bond Condition Violation on original charge of class C felony Theft/Stealing property or services valued between $500 and $25,000. Bond was placed at $25,000 Cash. Ms. Stark was transferred to the Daviess Dekalb County Regional Jail.

August 26 we served a Livingston County arrest warrant on Mallory Kay Fainter37, Chillicothe, for alleged Bond Supervision violation on original charge of class C felony Possession of Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $15,000 cash. Ms. Fainter was transferred to jail.
