Drought Returns To North Missouri

With the lack of rain in North Missouri, drought has once again set in.

Those experiencing abnormally dry (D0) drought conditions include portions of west central, central and northwestern Missouri.

A part of or all of Atchison, Hold, Andrew, Buchanan, Platte, Clay, Jackson, Cass, Johnson, Layayette, Pettis, and Cooper.


Experiencing moderate drought (D1)are portions of northern Missouri and north of the Missouri river.

In Missouri: a part of or all of Atchison, Holt, Nodaway, Andrew, Worth, harrison, Mercer, Putnam, Adair, Schuyler, Macon, Randolph, Chariton, Howard, Cooper, Saline, Carroll, Ray, Lafayette, Jackson, Clay, Platte, Buchanan, Dekalb, Clinton, Daviess, Caldwell, and Livingston.

Those in severe drought (D2) include portions of north central and northern Missouri.

In Missouri: A part of or all of Nodaway, Worth, Gentry, Harrison, Mercer, Putnam, Sullivan, Adair, Schuyler, Macon, Linn, Daviess, Grundy, Chariton, Dekalb, Caldwell and Livingston.
