Mercer Woman Injured In SUV Accident

A Mercer woman was injured yesterday afternoon when, according to the Highway Patrol, her sports utility vehicle drove off U-S 136, struck a guard rail, overturning down an embankment coming to rest on its top.

The highway patrol said 81 year old Annabelle Robinson of Mercer received moderate injuries and had to be extricated from the wreck.

She was flown by medical helicopter to North Kansas City Hospital. The S-U-V was demolished in the accident ten miles west of Princeton. Ms. Robinson was using a seat belt.
